About Our Agency

The South Arkansas Health Education Living and Life Options partnership (SA-HELLO) is a collaboration of Columbia and Union counties' principal healthcare and social services delivery providers. Under the leadership of the Area Agency on Aging of Southwest Arkansas, Inc. and working in collaboration with the Arkansas Department of Human Services, Division of Aging and Adult Services, the Donald W. Reynolds Center on Aging, and the John A Hartford Center for Gerontological Nursing Excellence, the partnership is working to establish an integrated system of home, community-based and institutional services. Integrating these services will:

• Empower older & disabled consumers and their caregivers by providing tools to assess their needs, learn about care options, locate appropriate services, and actively participate in the planning & management of their LTC services
  
  
• Assist providers by
  1. reducing duplicate reporting
  2. enabling online reporting
  3. providing feedback
  4. increasing communication and cross referrals
     
     
• Create a multi-county LTC database to measure and track information on consumers, services, and costs for policy planning and program development.
